Day 1: Depart from Dar es alaam to Selous game reserve

After breakfast drive to Selous game reserve. Selous is Africa’s largest game reserve covering an area of 55,000 km square, yet it receives few visitors; meaning you won’t come across many other vehicles on your daily game drives. Lunch to be served en route and proceed with drive to Selous game reserve which will take 4 to 5 hours.

Evening boat safari of at least 2 to 3 hours, dinner and overnight at the Selous Hippo Camp / Kumbukumbu Selous Riverside Camp.

Day 2: Full game drive – Selous

After breakfast depart with packed lunch for the full day game drive in the Selous game reserve. Lunch to be served in the Park and proceed with game drive until the evening time. Dinner and overnight at the Selous Hippo Camp / Kumbukumbu Selous Riverside Camp.

Day 03: Walking safari – Selous

After breakfast you will start your walking safari with guide and ranger. You will enjoy viewing different animals around the area with plenty of photo opportunities and then back to your camp for lunch and return to Dar es salaam.
