Bishop’s Stortford Carnival will take place on Saturday 18th June 2016 and this year, with the Queen’s 90th birthday, the Carnival has a Royal Theme.

Bishop’s Stortford Carnival brings the community together to celebrate everything that is good about Bishop’s Stortford and promises to be a great day out for all ages. The procession starts from Rhodes Arts Centre at 12.30pm and consists of individuals, floats, walking groups, Marching Bands and Dance troops.

The floats will proceed through South Street, Potter Street, and Market Square, finishing in North Street.  By then, the fun on the field, which commences at 12 noon and carries on until 5pm, will be in full swing.

In total over 100 community groups and other organisations are taking part. These include charities, local businesses and touring attractions, as well as a variety of entertainment for children and adults alike.

This year our Fun Day promises a packed program of displays and participation activities including the following:-
