With so many places offering a huge plethora of accommodation on the north Pembrokeshire coast line, how do you decide where and in what sort of accommodation to stay.

There are some very popular destinations on the north Pembrokeshire coast – Newport, Dinas Cross, The Gwaun Valley and Fishguard all have their own qualities and offer something different for the visitor.
If you fancy a busy seaside experience then head for the popular town of Newport where you will find two sandy beaches, restaurants, shops, pubs, cafes and art galleries. There are a number of accommodation providers in town – Bed and Breakfasts, Self Catering Holiday Cottages and Campsites to choose from.
For those that prefer a quieter holiday, the Gwaun Valley and Dinas Cross are perhaps more suitable. Hidden away in an ancient glacial meltwater valley you will find a spattering of houses and a small village pub where the beer is served from a jug on the bar. There are a selection of holiday cottages to be found in the Gwaun Valley; a peaceful break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life is sure to be found here. Dinas Cross is closer to the coast and boasts two small beaches, a few pubs, two shops and a cafe. In Dinas you will find a good selection of Holiday Cottages and a handful of Bed and Breakfasts to choose from.
Heading west from Dinas Cross brings you to the town of Fishguard where you will find a ferry terminal and railway station. This clifftop town has a selection of shops, art galleries, restaurants and pubs, as well as, a varied choice when it comes to accommodation – choose from Bed and Breakfasts, Hotels, Holiday Cottages and Campsites.
