West Coast of Scotland

Well if you have ever wanted to get out of the city and get away for a few days or even a few weeks, then why not give Scotland a wee tour. I started off intending on going for only a few days, but I got so caught up in this stunning, vast array of mountains, gulleys, waterfalls and rivers that I ended up staying for a whole week, trying to cram in as much as I could!

If you consider yourself to be an outdoor type of person who just loves to get away from it all then this could be just the place for you. And don’t forget to pack your camera as the colours, contrasts and natural beauty of this landscape is undoubtedly a photographer’s dream!

I bared Scotland in the autumn when a wonderful array of late colours start to shine through, and although the weather can be a bit on and off I feel this unpredictability brings with it more dramatic shots to photograph.

Apart from the midges that come out during the warmer months which can be annoying, there is so much vast land to explore you can just walk for miles and miles without seeing a single sole!
